Just want to give a shout out to all my watchers, downloaders, and commenters! I appreciate your support, and feedback... almost 6000 page views!!!
I don't know if you remember awhile back when I was telling you guys about the problems I was having with my iMac. To make a long story short. I baught an iMac late September of 2006, and had nothing but trouble with it. I had to have the video card replaced, and the HD replaced, both on seperate occasions. Well About a month ago I was waist deep in work, had deadlines to meet, when my HD decided to fail me again, my new one... the one I had replaced previously!! Luckily I was able to salvage my files, but the computer was pretty well useless. Because I couldn't afford to wait to have the machine repaired (I live 2 hours from the nearest repair centre) and because I failed to purchase Applecare, I decided to just bite the bullet and buy a new iMac (with Applecare). Luckily my employer helped me out with the new computer, I'm just making payments on it.
Well It's been about a month, I've had no problems with the new machine, everything is cool until yesterday. I come home from work to find my machine won't wake up... I turned off the computer, but when I turned it back on, however, I noticed an odd burning plastic smell, and a puff of smoke billows out the top of my iMac. I Immediately turned it off, and called the Mac store.
Now I have to take my computer into get serviced this morning, I have no idea what's been damaged in the machine, or if my files are salvageable. I absolutely sick over the entire situation. I'm a loyal Apple customer, but in just over a year, I've purchased two iMacs, both have seen severe problems.. which is complete and utter crap. If they can't fix my computer today, I'm demanding a new machine...
I hope everything works itself out... wish me luck with getting this thing fixed.
Peace,
Max
Also I just noticed that my Journal CSS doesn't display properly in Explorer... just freakin great...
